A big screen version of MTV “reality” series “The Hills” may not be what TV viewers are clamoring for, but it may be coming anyway, according to Audrina Patridge.
A spin-off of reality show “Laguna Beach,” “The Hills” followed Lauren Conrad and pals Patridge, Lauren “Lo” Bosworth, Brody Jenner, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, and Kristen Cavallari for six seasons as they stirred up drama amongst themselves. After much speculation about scripting, the show’s July 2010 finale revealed a Hollywood lot and backdrop, confirming that the series wasn’t real.
When the show ended, executive producer Adam DiVello wanted to bring Lauren Conrad & co. to the big screen. But the cast wasn't feeling it. Now that their careers have cooled off, it appears the frenemies are interested in doing a movie after all.
"We were kind of all just so fed up with each other that we all needed a little break," Patridge, 26, recently told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. "We've all had our break. Maybe we'll all come back together and do a movie."
But the real question is: will it be scripted?
